PROS

Massive Weight Loss: 15kg lighter than the 2016 model; extremely agile.
First Full Electronics: 5-axis IMU with riding modes and traction control.
Precision Handling: "Total Control" philosophy makes it very easy to ride fast.
Modern Interface: High-resolution TFT display with customizable layouts.

CONS

Fuel Tank Recall: Early units had a faulty cap seal allowing water into the tank.
Power Deficit: Still makes less peak power than rivals like the BMW S1000RR.
Fragile Plastics: Some fairing clips and the tank cover feel thin and flimsy.
No Fuel Gauge: Despite the fancy TFT, it still only has a low-fuel warning light.
