PROS

  1. Total Control: Revised ergonomics with wider bars and set-back pegs improve leverage.
  2. Balanced Power: Gas-flowed cylinder head adds +3hp and smoother midrange torque.
  3. Refined Chassis: Showa Big Piston Forks and Balance Free Rear Shock offer superb feel.
  4. Legendary Polish: Exceptionally smooth fueling and "Honda-standard" paint and build quality.

CONS

  1. Tech Lag: Lacks traction control, power modes, and a quickshifter found on rivals.
  2. Power Deficit: Significantly down on peak horsepower compared to the BMW S1000RR.
  3. Notchy Gearbox: Known for occasional stubborn upshifts and finding false neutrals.
  4. Heavy ABS: The C-ABS system is highly effective but adds roughly 24 lbs (11 kg).
