PROS

  1. Dual-Motor Throttle: New system independently controls cylinders 1-2 and 3-4 for much smoother engine braking and low-rev precision.
  2. Midrange Muscle: Higher compression (13.6:1) and lighter engine internals fix the "hollow" midrange of earlier models.
  3. Gen-3 Öhlins: Features the new Smart-EC 3.0 Spool Valve suspension, offering more accurate damping than the previous generation.
  4. Refined Ergos: Handlebars are slightly higher and footpegs lower, making the extreme race crouch a tiny bit more tolerable.

CONS

  1. Price Hike: Flagship hardware and HRC tech updates have pushed the price significantly higher than the 2022–2023 versions.
  2. Top-End Bias: Even with midrange updates, the engine still screams to 14,500 RPM—it’s built for the track, not the school run.
  3. Heat Management: The high-strung motor generates massive heat; city traffic will still feel like sitting on a furnace.
  4. Still Small Display: Despite a software refresh, the 5-inch TFT remains smaller than the cinematic screens on the BMW S1000RR.
