PROS

  1. Refined SOHC Engine: The peak evolution of Honda’s air-cooled SOHC fours.
  2. Light Handling: Much more agile and "flickable" than the larger CB750.
  3. Ease of Use: Features a very wide clutch friction point, great for beginners.
  4. Modern Upgrades: Restyled for '81 with a better seat and dual front discs (on some versions).

CONS

  1. Bad Rotor: The charging system is a notorious weak point (fails more often than the CB550).
  2. Power Limit: Fast, but lacks the raw highway passing power of 750cc+ rivals.
  3. Basic Suspension: Non-adjustable forks feel "limp" under aggressive riding.
  4. Vibration: Can feel buzzy through the bars at highway speeds (approx. 5,500 RPM).
