PROS

  1. Cruiser Comfort: Pull-back bars and a stepped seat for a relaxed ride.
  2. Agility: Surprisingly light steering for its "Custom" geometry.
  3. Smooth Engine: The SOHC inline-four is very refined and predictable.
  4. Low Seat: One of the most accessible seat heights of its era.

CONS

  1. Charging Faults: Frequent issues with the rotor and regulator/rectifier.
  2. Braking: Single front disc provides average stopping power at best.
  3. Small Tank: 13-litre capacity limits touring range significantly.
  4. Suspension: Rear shocks are basic and soft for two-up riding.
