PROS
- 100 MPH Class: One of the first small-bore bikes to hit the "ton."
- Electric Start: Very reliable push-button starting for the early 60s.
- No Oil Leaks: Horizontally split cases keep the garage floor clean.
- High Redline: Revs to 9,000+ RPM with a great exhaust note.
CONS
- Weak Low-End: Requires high revs to get moving effectively.
- Vibrations: Noticeable "buzz" due to the 180° crank design.
- Drum Brakes: Can fade under hard use; no "hill-hold" on slopes.
- 4-Speed Box: Lacks a 5th gear for more relaxed highway cruising.
