PROS
- Mechanical Simplicity: Air-cooled, 4-valve DOHC single is extremely easy to service and highly durable.
- Low Running Costs: Excellent fuel economy (~30–35 km/L) and low insurance rates make it a perfect budget commuter.
- Agile Ergonomics: Very narrow and light, allowing for effortless "lane-splitting" and slow-speed maneuvers.
- Big Bike Feel: Unlike many 250s, it has full-sized dimensions and a 16L tank, making it look and feel like a larger machine.
CONS
- Rear Drum Brake: Lacks the stopping power and heat dissipation of a rear disc brake.
-
- Carburetor Sensitivity: Prone to "bogging" or rough idling if the bike is left sitting or if the weather is very cold.
-
- No Gear Indicator: The dashboard is purely analog and basic, which can be a slight hurdle for absolute beginners.
-
- Mild Vibrations: Being a single-cylinder, it develops a noticeable buzz through the handlebars at high RPM.
