PROS
- Smooth Inline-Four: Uses the 599cc engine from the Hornet but retuned for a much friendlier, broader midrange—perfect for daily commuting.
- Adjustable Fit: Famous for its 3-position seat (770mm–800mm) and adjustable handlebars, ensuring a tailored fit for any rider size.
- Excellent Wind Protection: The "S" model's half-fairing and 2-position screen make highway travel much more comfortable than the naked "N" version.
- Honda Reliability: Simple mechanicals and high build quality allow these bikes to easily reach 100,000+ km with basic care.
CONS
- Carbureted: Lacks the fuel efficiency and "push-button" cold starting of the 2008+ fuel-injected models.
-
- No Fuel Gauge: Like previous years, the dashboard only has a low-fuel warning light; you must rely on the trip meter.
-
- Unemotional Ride: Often criticized for being "bland" or "boring" because it does everything so competently without a sporty edge.
-
- Weighty: At 219 kg (wet), it is stable on the road but can feel a bit cumbersome during slow-speed maneuvers or when parking.
