PROS
- Detuned RR Engine: Inherits the 599cc inline-four from the 2007 CBR600RR, retuned for a smooth, accessible midrange.
- Aluminum Chassis: This second-generation model (PC43) features a lighter, stiffer cast-aluminum frame than the older steel versions.
- Ergonomic Flexibility: One of the few naked bikes with a 3-position adjustable seat (770mm–800mm) and adjustable handlebars.
- Massive Range: The 20L fuel tank is unusually large for a naked 600, offering 350km+ between stops.
CONS
- Budget Suspension: The 41mm front forks are very soft and offer no adjustment, leading to significant "dive" under braking.
-
- Heavyweight Feel: At 213kg (wet), it is significantly heavier than its "cool" brother, the Hornet, making it less flickable.
-
- Conservative Styling: It’s built for practicality, not personality; many riders find the "commuter" look a bit uninspiring.
-
- Wind Exposure: Being the 'N' (Naked) model, you have zero protection from wind blast at highway speeds.
