PROS
- Combined ABS: The "C" stands for Combined; braking the rear also applies light front pressure for much safer, flatter stops.
- RR-Derived Engine: Uses a detuned version of the 2007 CBR600RR motor, prioritizing midrange torque over top-end scream.
- High Adjustability: Features a 3-position seat (±15mm) and a 2-position screen to fit almost any rider height.
- Aluminum Chassis: Second-generation model with a lighter cast-aluminum frame for better handling than older steel versions.
CONS
- High Kerb Weight: At 222 kg, the ABS hardware and center stand make it heavy for its class.
-
- Uninspiring Style: Lacks the sharp "edge" of the Hornet or rivals; often viewed as a "sensible commuter."
-
- Soft Front End: Standard 41mm forks dive significantly under hard braking—even with the help of C-ABS.
-
- Dated Cockpit: While clear and functional, the analog dials felt old-fashioned even by 2010 standards.
