PROS

  1. Classic 250 cc twin-cylinder engine with ~27 HP and ~135 km/h top speed.
  2. 5-speed gearbox gives usable range for urban and open-road riding.
  3. Front disc brake improves stopping over full drum setups of the era.
  4. Lightweight-ish vintage bike (~183 kg) for easier handling than larger classics.
  5. Simple air-cooled mechanics are easier to work on than modern tech.

CONS

  1. Older tech and carburettors can require frequent tuning/maintenance.
  2. Rear drum brake only, less effective than modern brakes.
  3. Limited modern features (no EFI, ABS, electronics).
  4. Parts availability may be challenging given age.
  5. Not ideal for sustained high-speed touring compared to modern bikes.
