PROS

  1. Iconic Styling: The "Bol d’Or" look defined the 80s superbike era with its flowing tank-to-tail design.
  2. DOHC Performance: The 901cc engine was a powerhouse for its time, producing a healthy 95 hp.
  3. Solid Handling: Features a stiffer frame and better forks than the CB750, making it a "proper" sport-tourer.
  4. Adjustable Shocks: Came with sophisticated FVQ rear shocks that offered damping adjustment—a rarity in 1980.

CONS

  1. Top-Heavy: The bike carries its weight high, making it feel "tippy" during slow-speed maneuvers.
  2. Brake Fade: While it has triple discs, the 1980s technology can struggle to stop 260kg of momentum quickly.
  3. Electrical Gremlins: Like the Custom, it suffers from weak charging rotors and aging fuse boxes.
  4. Vibration: Despite being an inline-four, it can get "buzzy" through the footpegs at high highway speeds.
