- Total Redesign: Introduced the sharper, modern look and aluminum frame.

CONS
- Exhaust Design: The low-slung "stubby" exhaust lacks the iconic high-mount charm.
- Seat Comfort: The pillion seat is narrow and less passenger-friendly.
- Fueling: Early fuel injection can feel slightly snatchy at low speeds.
- Suspension: Front forks remain non-adjustable despite the upside-down design.
